Saidu Tejan-Thomas (cast member of The Colored Museum) performing at our Slam Poetry Night on Friday after the show.

This Friday we're doing it again.

All this Blogginator heard was how powerful, beautiful and moving this addition was to their evening.

These are award-winning Slam artists on on our Hodges stage.

Very cool (fingers snapping)

Hey Blog....

Hey.

I remember you.

You're the Theatre VCU Blog!!

What's up man??

Where you been?

Long story man... long story.

So instead of boring you - here.

Here's a picture:

These guys had a great high school matinee today.
Some folks left with a lot to think about.
Thank you cast and crew.

This is the cast of The Colored Museum (and their dramaturg)
They are acting in this photo.
In the next photo they are being themselves.

Yep themselves.

Another photo.
This is Dr. T (Tawnya Pettiford Wates) at the high school talk back today.
Great questions. Powerful answers.
Check out that set. Designed by Sophie Solomon Resplandy - 4th year Scene Design undergraduate. One of the high schoolers took notice and had some very thoughtful observations about the set.
The bloginator loves to be a witness to learning.
It's a privilege.

Okay... first blog in weeks.

Maybe months... we don't want to go crazy here.

Another high school matinee tomorrow and  then performances all weekend - thursday friday & saturday at 7:30 • sunday at 3:00

The Colored Museum.
