Toni Morrison's characters were given life and urgency and this production pulled the audience into her story of how perception can change everything.
This is not an easy play about simple people.Yet the Director, April Jones, was able to take complex and difficult issues, and with her actors, find compassion, and humor to make even dark moments full of humanity and truth.
We are presenting The Bluest Eye until April 24th.
It is good theatre, beautifully presented.
